Quantumult X guide (iPhone / iPad / Mac)
Quantumult X is a long-standing rule-based proxy app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Your subscription returns a node list in Quantumult X format, which you add as a server subscription.
1. Install Quantumult X
- Log in to the client area, find your plan under “My services” and click Get started.
- Choose iOS (or macOS on a Mac), pick Quantumult X and tap the App Store button to open the listing.
- Quantumult X is a paid app. It isn’t available in the mainland-China App Store, so download it with an Apple ID from another region — see Get a non-mainland-China Apple ID. Switch accounts in the App Store only; leave the iCloud account in Settings unchanged.
2. Add the server subscription
- On “Get started”, choose Quantumult X and tap Copy subscription link.
- Open Quantumult X, go to its settings and find the subscription (remote) resources for servers / nodes, then tap add.
- Paste the link as the resource URL, give it a tag such as CyberSaury and save. The app downloads the node list right away.
Make sure you add it as a server (node) subscription, not a filter or rewrite resource — otherwise no nodes will appear.
Your subscription link works like a password — don’t share it, post it in group chats or include it in screenshots. If it leaks, go to your service page, choose “Manage → Reset subscription link”, then import the new link again.
3. Choose a node and connect
- On the home screen, select one of the imported nodes in your policy (a nearby region is usually fastest).
- Turn on the connection switch on the home screen.
- The first time, the system asks to add a VPN configuration — tap Allow and enter your passcode (your login password on a Mac). A VPN badge appears in the iPhone status bar once connected.
4. Update your subscription
Quantumult X refreshes remote resources once a day by default. To pick up changes right away (after renewing or when nodes change), update the server subscription manually.
